The Radcliffe is a small private hotel situated 200 yards from the sea-front and 100 yards from the shops and bus station. Bridlington offers a good range of major stores and smaller shops and the resort has many bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel.
We have five letting rooms with newly-double glazed windows, colour television, tea-coffee facilities etc.

The Radcliffe has been extensively re-furbished over the last two years to offer en-suite and basic facilities.

A full English breakfast - prepared in our new catering kitchen -  is included in the nightly rate of 20-30 pounds per person (children under 12 half price).

Sorry, we do not accommodate guests for hen/stag nights or similar celebrations.

Evening food is available at reasonable prices in the form of hot snacks - or dinner can be booked with us in advance. We offer the best local meat and fish (shellfish a specialty) but can also meet any dietary requirements. We also have a comfortable residents' lounge bar with traditional bar games such as Scrabble, Dominoes, Cards available plus books for children available.

The Radcliffe  offers guests every comfort in a no-smoking environment and the hotel has recently been fitted with a new fire safety system.

ABOUT RODNEY, JACKIE & SARAH COLLINS Rodney has worked in the media since the mid 1960’s, including management posts at ATV, Pye Records, Billboard inc, BBC Radios 1 & 2, Radio Luxembourg and as Managing Director of several local radio stations in the British Isles. Since 2000, he has also operated small hotels with his wife Jackie and daughter Sarah. Their first venture was the Old House in Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides – awarded three stars by the Scottish Tourist Board – the second being the Radcliffe Guest House. Meanwhile Rodney continue to broadcast over several radio stations in the UK and world-wide and produce music CD's. Some photographs are on show in the Lounge Bar!

Some of Bridlington's many attractions include two beautiful sandy beaches, which offer stunning views up to Flamborough Head, the Lighthouse and along the East Coast. There's also the newly refurbished Bridlington Spa which attracts top acts throughout the year. This £19 million theatre and leisure complex is a few minutes level walk from the Radcliffe.

Then there is Sewerby Hall which houses beautiful gardens, tea rooms, zoo and a museum which displays regional history and the Yorkshire Showcase Gallery which has a varied exhibition programme of regional contemporary arts and crafts. Bridlington also has to offer one of England's leading monasteries, the Bridlington Priory which was established in 1113AD. Sewerby also accommodates one of the finest model villages in the country, with over 200 individual and unique buildings, including a Castle, ruined Abbey, working Harbour and Train.

Just a short distance away there is the Bempton Cliffs which is an established nature reserve, run by the RSPB, It is best known for its breeding seabirds, including Northern Gannet, Atlantic Puffin, Razorbill, Common Guillemot, Black-legged Kittiwake and Fulmar. Another popular attraction for bird watchers is Danes' Dyke which attracts many resident breeding and wintering birds.
